Book Review: This Time Next Year
This book made me feel all the feels. It’s the PERFECT winter read. I am so thankful to NetGalley for providing me with an ARC, and I can’t wait to pick up a hard copy to keep on my shelf.
Summary:
Born on the same day, in the same hospital, separated but together over New Year’s past, present, and future. Quinn stole Minnie’s name and she’s resented him her whole life- Quinn lived the life she thought she could have had, but Quinn feels as though he’s just gone through the motions. When the two finally meet, they couldn’t feel more opposite. But doesn’t that old saying go opposites attract? But how many years will it take for them to get there? There’s always next year, I suppose…
Honest Review:
This book reminded me so much on One Day in December and In Five Years, it just might be one of my favorite reads of the year. I loved traveling backwards and forwards in time with Minnie and Quinn and seeing how much their lives have overlapped, despite all of their differences. It is quirky, fun, and emotional. It is exceptionally well written, and makes me miss going out and about in the world and exploring all it has to offer. It is the perfect holiday read, so curl up next to your fire place and pick up a copy right now to see how the story ends!
