Book Review: It Ends With Us

Trigger warning: abuse

Summary:

On the night of her father’s funeral, Lily meets Ryle. Charming, gorgeous, stubborn, and a neurosurgeon- he seems like everything she could dream of. Except that he has a no dating rule. And he wants to make an exception to that rule for Lily. As she tumbles head first into love, Lily learns why Ryle has that rule. It brings up memories of Atlas, her first love. And when he pops back into her life, he threatens the life she’s trying to build with Ryle. A life that might not be good for her, and Atlas is the only one who can see it.

Why I Picked This Book:

I loved Verity and wanted to read another CoHo book!

Honest Review:

Naked truth? I cried the whole way through this one. Cried is actually an understatement- I sobbed. I won’t spoil anything because I think this book is too important and EVERYONE should read it, so I’ll say this: “All humans make mistakes. What determines a person’s character aren’t the mistakes we make. It’s how we take those mistakes and turn them into lessons rather than excuses.”
